The Problem
UKFast had great connections to their event spaces found on site. The events team were hosting multiple events a week but didn’t have an effective way to manage tickets, payment and event information. UKFast wanted an app where they could give their attendees a more all round experience. A key feature that had to be incorporated was a QR code allowing users to pass the onsite security barriers.

The Solution
The Client insisted we based the app around the functionality of Event Brite. I first started with a competitor analysis on existing events apps similar to Event Brite. From here I created a list of requirements the company would benefit from. While I was designing this app, my colleague was designing the CMS system that the events department would use to push events/information/notifications to the app its self, so it was imperative that we worked together on the functionality.
From here I done a basic wireframe with Balsamiq to test the user flow and functionality.
This then lead to a Lo-Fi wireframe prototype to ensure the client was happy with the general layout and function.
Once the final Hi-Fi was completed, this was then uploaded to Zeplin so the app developers could have access to all assets needed for the project. This was accompanied with various UX Flow charts to ensure the journey was created effectively. When the app was completed this went into the A/B testing stage.
Final Hi-Fi Designs
Below shows all Hi-Fi screens from the app, these are the sections that were separated for the developers to build.
